I started massage school to explore the power and gentleness of touch.
I work with clients who are interested in increasing flexibility (range of motion) and decreasing pain, both as body sensations and mental attitudes.
I have a Masters degree in Health Education. I taught Personal Health and Fitness classes for 8 years at Lane Community College before becoming a licensed massage therapist. Within 2 years of graduating from massage school (1995), I started practicing massage and teaching anatomy and physiology in massage school. Since then, I have studied and received certificates in Clinical Herbalism, Embodied Anatomy and Yoga, and Somatic Movement Education.
The body continues to intrigue me - with magnificence and mystery.
